Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate software functionality.
• Perform various testing types including system / functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Design and develop automation scripts when needed. Automate test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies. Document and track defects using bug-tracking tools and work with the team to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate critical issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle
