JOB DESCRIPTION:

What you’ll do as a Web Developer

Full stack web development (PHP/HTML/SASS/JS) using a variety of tools and platforms to include mainly WordPress & Laravel, bringing to life immersive UX & Design.
Create connections tailored to different clients that integrate with different services, using a variety of third party APIs
Collaborate with other members of the wider team to produce readable and maintainable code
Work with the Client Team to aid in any technical planning needed and assessing technical requirements where required

You have been in a development role for over two years and take pride in the code you write
You have a progressive mindset when you work with tech and people
You are a self-starter who is happy to create the vision, own the delivery of tasks you are set, and get code deployed
You have the ability to work flexibly and at a fast pace, while making good technical decisions

YOUR Skills and Experience

Solid experience of writing quality, readable, maintainable and scalable code
An understanding of website performance
Strong full stack experience using JavaScript and/or jQuery, HTML & CSS (SASS/SCSS)
Understanding of REST API’s
Experience with platforms and frameworks (WordPress, Laravel)
Strong understanding and proven experience with using Advanced Custom Fields (for WordPress) & Gutenburg
OOP PHP development experience and an overview of related technologies (MySQL, Linux, Apache, nginx)
Excellent problem-solving skills and great attention to detail
Experience using git source control and modern branching strategies
